I will also say that I had this clock for over a year before I ever had an isssue with it at all. This is a good company and a good product in my opinion. We're happy with the overall functionality of it, however... the most important part of the timeclock is having it PRINT onto a timecard. After a year or two, the printing got lighter & lighter, even after experimenting with various ribbons & replacing them all too often. I called the company recently about this problem, & they walked me through how to clean the printhead. I did that several times, but it has not helped... parts of the numbers are not visible when printed. So... I would not recommend this time clock. I am now shopping for a new one, & am thinking I will just stay away from anything made by Pyramid.
